Course Overview

The VMware Datacenter Transformation teaches the various virtualization concepts and how they drive an enterprise's digital agenda. It also covers VMware products and technologies that support VMware Cloud Foundation and Cross-Cloud Architecture solutions including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and the vRealize Suite.

Module 1: Introduction to Data Center Virtualization with VMware vSphere

This module introduces Data Center Virtualization and other components related to Data Center Virtualization. This module also introduces vSphere 6.x as a VMware solution to implement Data Center Virtualization.

Module 3: Introduction to Network Virtualization

This module introduces the idea and concept of virtualization of networks to implement a software-defined data center.

Module 8: Introduction to End-User Computing

This module, we define End User Computing (EUC), show examples of business and technical challenges, and provide an overview of the VMware Workforce Mobility product line.

This module, we explore the components of the VMware Horizon portfolio of desktop and application virtualization solutions. We also discuss VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter features that support the virtual desktop infrastructure.
