The WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) qualification is designed for individuals who are keen to join the WSH profession.

Who Should Attend

This course is relevant for WSH Representative / Promoter / Advocate. It serves as the entry point for individuals with minimal WSH knowledge and experience who is looking to build careers as WSH Professionals.

Total Training Hours: 96 hours

Course Outline

You are required to complete the following:

Core Modules:

  • Identify WSH Hazards and Maintain Risk Control Measures
  • Support WSH Legal Compliance and Incident Reporting
  • Participate in Implementing WSH Management Process
  • Check and Report Outcome of WSH Inspection
  • Communicate and Relate Effectively at the Workplace

 Elective Module:

 

  • Solve Problems and Make Decisions at Operations Level

Mode of Assessment

Written Assessment, Oral questioning, Written Report

Certification Obtained and Conferred by

You will receive a full certificate (Certificate in WSH) and a transcript after completion of all modules.

Pre-requisites

You are recommended to have attained the following before enrolling for the course:

 

  • ES Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4  OR
  • Completed Secondary 2 education AND
  • Preferably hold a WSH-related appointment
