This course helps to equip you in supervisory positions with generic occupational safety and health competencies to implement effective workplace safety and health (WSH) management and to maintain WSH policies.

Who Should Attend

This course is targeted at staff in supervisory positions who have to be responsible for maintaining the WSH policies and procedures. It may also be useful to people in small businesses or to self-employed workers.

  • Interpret WSH policies, procedures and programmes
  • Educate workers on WSH policies, procedures and programmes
  • Implement and control WSH management programmes
  • Implement workplace risk management programmes
  • Maintain workplace risk control measures

  • Theory: Knowledge, Comprehension & Discussion
  • Practical: Role-play, demonstration & case study
  • Assessment: Participant's assessment will be conducted throughout the course

Certification Obtained and Conferred by

Upon successful completion and assessment of each training module, you will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA). The SOA is a nationally-recognised qualification indicating your ability of competence in a particular area.
