Course Overview
The Settling-In Programme (SIP) is a 1-day orientation programme for first-time foreign domestic workers (FDWs) to educate them on safety precautions and living in Singapore.

Please bring the following required documents to NTUC LearningHub on the date of the course:
1. FDW's IPA Letter (Including Employee's Copy)
2. FDW's Passport (Original and photocopy)
3. Embarkation Card
4. FDW's Educational Certificate (Documentary proof of a minimum of 8 years of formal education is required)
Please note NTUC LearningHub Reserves the right to reject any FDW who does not meet the minimum requirements/present the above documents. Upon arrival, please proceed straight to class.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. How can I reserve SIP slots for my FDW?
You can make the reservation here.
2. How many days FDWs are given to take their SIP?
According to the Ministry of Manpower, FDWs are given 3 days after their arrival to complete their SIP. (Mondays to Saturdays, excluding Sundays and Public Holidays) Example, if FDW arrived on this Saturday, the last day to attend SIP will be on next Wednesday.
3. What is the reporting time for SIP?
Please report at Aljunied Training Centre and proceed to SIP classroom between 8.30am to 8.55am.
NTUC LHub reserves the right to reject any FDW to attend the class if FDW is late. It will also be considered as a no show with no refund of SIP fees.
4. What document is needed for registration?
FDW must bring his/her passport, IPA ( full employee copy), embarkation card, education certificate and LHUB Tax Invoice/Receipt.
For non-English documents, English translated copy must be produced together with the Original for verification.
5. I have made payment for my FDW's course, but he/she is not turning up. Can I get my money back?
There will be no refunds for absentees. You may replace with another FDW within 14 days if the current FDW is unable to come for any reason. Example, if your FDW is absent on 2nd Feb SIP class, you must get a new FDW no later than 16th Feb.
Any replacement must be within 14 days. No further changes will be accepted after.
6. Are there any special arrangement for International Classes?
Yes. Interpreting services available for the following languages: Sinhalese, Mizo, Tegulu, Khmer and Mandarin.
