Course Overview

On completion of this module, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills in using appropriate methods to improve productivity, preventing poor production practices and applying productivity techniques, linking it to the financial big picture.

This module is suitable for employees from both the Manufacturing and Services sectors. The occupations that this unit would be relevant to include (but are not limited to):

16 hours (2 days) inclusive of assessment hours

Use appropriate methods to improve productivity, prevent poor productivity practices at the workplace, apply productivity techniques and link it to the big financial picture

Mode of Assessment

Written/oral question, presentation, and submission of work assignment are required after completion of training

Certification Obtained and Conferred by

Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)

Pre-requisites

Completed PSLE and are able to speak, read and write in basic English
or
Participants with the following competency ratings from the Employability Skills System (ESS) are eligible:
Listening/Speaking  Min. Level 4
Reading/Writing  Min. Level 4
Numeracy  Min. Level 4

Funding Information

Skills Development Fund (SDF) and SkillsFuture Funding:

·  Participants must attend at least 75% of the course, complete the exam with a pass or competent result.

·  Online applications are not applicable to companies applying for funding with Absentee Payroll.

·  Workforce Training Support (WTS) funding only applies to a trainee who is 35 years old and above with a monthly income of $1,900 and below.

For Company Registration:

·  Customers who are applying funding for trainee(s), please submit Training Grant applications in SkillsConnect website before registration.

·  Training Grant number is to be submitted together with the registrations.

·  Payment for the course must be using company cheque or via GIRO.
