Course Overview

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) developed the Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Certified Associate Operations Executive (AOE) qualification under the Generic Manufacturing Skills (GMS) WSQ framework.

WSQ AOE comprises of 4 modules covering the core planning and execution competencies required of PMEs:

  • Module 1: WSQ Apply Management Level Planning Skills
  • Module 2: WSQ Apply Project Management Skills
  • Module 3: WSQ Manage Process Improvement
  • Module 4: WSQ Manage Quality Systems and Processes

New and experienced professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) within the manufacturing and service-related industries.

Course Outline

  • Provides learners the essential knowledge and skills in bringing the sources and processes together to achieve the organisational set goals using a variety of process improvement methodologies. It involves adopting a systematic approach to improving a process through mapping, analysing and redesigning the process.

  • Provides learners the opportunity to apply, demonstrate and practice the knowledge and skills learnt on managing process improvement at the workplace through classroom and practical sessions.

This programme is designed to provide PMEs with the essential skills, competencies, and knowledge in the areas of project management, quality management, business process improvement and people management.

Skills Development Fund (SDF) and SkillsFuture Funding:

·  Participants must attend at least 75% of the course, complete the exam with a pass or competent result.

·  Online applications are not applicable to companies applying for funding with Absentee Payroll.

·  Workforce Training Support (WTS) funding only applies to a trainee who is 35 years old and above with a monthly income of $1,900 and below.

For Company Registration:

·  Customers who are applying funding for trainee(s), please submit Training Grant applications in SkillsConnect website before registration.

·  Training Grant number is to be submitted together with the registrations.

·  Payment for the course must be using company cheque or via GIRO.
