This 3-day course will prepare participants to sit for the CIPP/A certification examination. The course follows closely the Body of Knowledge set out by the International Association of Privacy Professional and will cover all relevant content under the Authoritative Resource List.

While the course covers all the required knowledge as set out in the Body of Knowledge, the method of delivery of the course prepares the candidates to confidently follow up with self-study and structured exercises. These will assist candidates to better understand, and thus recall the important concepts regarding personal data privacy principles that candidates will be tested on.

Mode of Assessment

Learners will be required to undergo 2.5-hour Mock Exam in class. 

Certification Obtained and Conferred by

1.  Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub

Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub will be issued to participants who have met at least 75% attendance.

2.  External Certification Exam


Candidates will receive CIPP/A certification from IAPP upon passing the certification exam.

  •   Learners will experience hands-on practice of the relevant examination via an online Mock Exam and a debrief of their performance.




Learners are assumed to be able to:


  • Understand relevant organisational policies, processes, IT systems and the types of data that is captured and stored in those systems;
  • Have information gathering skills to gather and collate necessary information;
  • Have analytical skills to assess policies and procedures;
  • Have business writing skills to prepare management report; and
  • Be aware of the compliance requirements of the organisation.
