Mode of Assessment

Learners will be required to undergo assessment, consisting of a written test and oral questioning. Both will be conducted in the classroom.

  • Define approaches to take for sharing of personal data within the organisation, with data intermediaries and with other organisations
  • Obtain consent from the individual or apply for exemptions from PDPC where applicable
  • Use the Data Sharing Checklist to guide the organisation in planning for data sharing activities
  • Monitor and track the kinds of data the organisation capture, retain and utilise for data sharing activities
  • Identify legal and technical considerations to facilitate data sharing activities between organisations
  • Operationalize data sharing in different data sharing models
  • Define data valuation framework for the organisation
  • Assess and conduct data valuation for purposes of sharing


1. Learner has attended and is competent for module titled Fundamentals of Personal Data Protection Act or its equivalent
